  • SCBM can service a Shipping Guarantee (S/G) that allows your company to take possession of goods from the transportation company before the original Bill of Lading (B/L) arrives. An S/G may be serviced for imports under a Letter of Credit (L/C) or Bill for Collection (B/C).
  • When SCBM receives the trade documents in full, including the original B/L, the Bank will deliver them to your company. You exchange the original B/L for the S/G given to the transportation company and return the S/G to SCBM.
